“Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
– Leonardo da Vinci
Having a garden can be transformative, meditative, and creative, but sometimes we need help learning what plants are growing in our garden or which ones are best for our space. Sometimes we need help brainstorming ideas or seeing the potential and beauty in an existing space.
My goal is to assist in these tasks. I’ve spent years getting to know common garden plants that light up our yards and native ones that have evolved to thrive in the northern plains. I have finished my Master Gardener certification through NDSU which deepened my expertise and has given me access to a vast network of dedicated horticulturalists and amateur gardeners who know our area well.
Types of activities and services I provide:
- Planning a community garden and coordinating volunteers
- 45 minute garden walk-through to identify plants, problem areas, and possibilities, with an optional write-up afterwards
- Educational workshops for pre-k through adult
